About Reasonics

Operationalizing the Knowledge Your Organization Already Holds

Organizations in complex and regulated environments possess decades of expertise embedded in their people, processes, regulations, and standards. Yet most software processes information without understanding the knowledge that governs how organizations operate.

Reasonics transforms that organizational knowledge into intelligent software that reasons, adapts, and explains its decisions — helping organizations preserve expertise, automate with confidence, and continuously evolve as knowledge changes.

Our Story

The platform became the company

Reasonics began with an ambitious goal: build a new generation of intelligent software for a highly regulated, data-intensive industry. It was a bold vision for a small team, and as the platform evolved, it revealed a challenge far larger than our original market.

As the platform evolved, it became clear that the principles being developed could extend far beyond a single industry. Rather than applying them to one specialized application, we built the infrastructure that enables other organizations to transform their organizational knowledge into intelligent software. That realization became the foundation of Reasonics.

Organizations depend on expertise embedded in documents, regulations, standards, workflows, and the experience of the people doing the work. Yet their software rarely understands that knowledge. Instead, organizations repeatedly translate, reinterpret, and reimplement the same expertise whenever systems change.

The problem was never a lack of data. It was the inability of software to understand the meaning, relationships, and rules that define organizational expertise. That insight continues to shape everything Reasonics builds.

Our Mission

Amplifying human expertise

Our mission is to help organizations transform their expertise into intelligent software that understands, reasons, and acts in alignment with organizational knowledge.

We believe technology should amplify human expertise, not replace it — making knowledge easier to preserve, share, teach, govern, and continuously improve.

By making organizational knowledge executable, explainable, and adaptable, we enable organizations to build intelligent systems they can understand, trust, and evolve as their business evolves.

What Makes Us Different

Building capability, not dependency

Many approaches to enterprise AI focus on generating answers. We believe the greater opportunity is helping organizations preserve, operationalize, and continuously evolve the expertise they already possess.

Reasonics transforms organizational knowledge into intelligent software that organizations own and control. Rather than increasing dependence on prompts, consultants, or proprietary workflows, our platform enables expertise to become a durable organizational asset, one that can be shared, taught, governed, and continuously improved as the organization evolves.

Leadership

Our Team

Together, Debra Schwartz and Tavi Truman bring the two capabilities every deep-tech company requires: the technical depth to build foundational technology and the strategic, operational, and market expertise to transform it into an enterprise platform. Their shared conviction. That organizations should not have to rebuild or rediscover their expertise every time technology changes — shapes everything Reasonics builds.

Debra Schwartz

Debra Schwartz

CEO & Co-Founder

Debra Schwartz brings more than three decades of experience in sales, marketing, business operations, contract negotiation, and customer strategy across industries where success depended on effective knowledge transfer, regulatory awareness, and sound decision-making.

Those years provided firsthand insight into a challenge shared by organizations of every size: critical expertise becomes fragmented across people, documents, disconnected systems, and institutional memory. As organizations evolve, preserving, applying, and transferring that knowledge becomes increasingly difficult.

Working alongside Tavi Truman as the underlying technology evolved from an industry-specific solution into a foundational platform, Debra recognized that the problem being solved extended far beyond a single market. She led the strategic decision to reposition the company around that broader opportunity, a decision that became Reasonics.

As CEO, Debra leads Reasonics' strategy, market development, partnerships, and growth while translating the company's technical innovations into business outcomes that executives, domain experts, and customers can understand with confidence.

Tavi Truman

Tavi Truman

CTO & Co-Founder

Tavi Truman has spent decades designing and building software for complex operational environments where correctness, consistency, and adaptability are essential. Throughout that work, he repeatedly encountered the same fundamental limitation: software could process information but could not truly understand the organizational knowledge that governed how organizations operated.

Rather than continuing to build increasingly complex applications around that limitation, Tavi developed the foundational technologies that now power Reasonics, including formal knowledge representation, ontology-driven compilation, automated code generation, reasoning systems, and verification technologies that transform organizational knowledge into intelligent software.

Today, Tavi leads the architecture and technical direction of the Reasonics platform, continuing to advance the company's foundational AI infrastructure while ensuring organizations can preserve, operationalize, and continuously evolve their expertise through software that reasons from organizational knowledge and not statistical inference alone.

Where We're Headed

We're building the infrastructure that enables organizations to preserve, operationalize, and continuously evolve their expertise. If that future aligns with where your organization is headed, we'd welcome the opportunity to talk.
